How To Treat Warts On Hands
Warts on hands are a very annoying and embarrassing thing to have. They gross people out and they divert your attention all the time from whatever it is that you would like to be doing. The thing about warts is that they can hit anyone but should I say luckily, just kidding, they are more common in children.
So what exactly are warts on hands before we go any further? Well, warts first of all can pop up on any part of your body not just on your hands. They are caused by the human papilloma virus which can cause a whole lot of other things. They are most likely to appear on cuts and moist areas of the skin.
Although warts on hands can look like a very serious condition, they will not put you in writhing pain. If you leave them alone eventually they too will leave you alone and just disappear. This disappearing act will however take a different duration for each individual.
The weird thing about warts on hands is that you cannot really protect yourself in a way that you absolutely cannot get them. They are spread by touch so this poses a problem. This is actually why the warts are mostly on hands. Your hands are always in contact with different objects.
If you want to avoid warts on hands then you will have to be constantly washing your hands. You will also have to be using soap or disinfectants frequently for this. I can imagine if you are one of those people who have to shake people's hands all day. The more stuff you are touching without cleaning your hands the higher the chance of you getting warts on your hands.
Like I said before, if you do not always mess around with the warts on your hands then they will go away with time. Some people however just do not have this time and would rather have a doctor remove warts from their hands as soon as possible.
The most common step that the doctor would take to get rid of warts on hands would be to recommend some medicine for it. This medicine may or may not need a prescription for it depending of course on its type. It is not such a bad way to go about it.
There are however other drastic methods to rid yourself of warts on hands. They can freeze them and then simply scratch them off. They can go the opposite route which would be to burn them off. Then the most recent method would be the use of laser technology to slice them off.
I would rather just let them take their time and get off by themselves. If I however had to choose one of the methods to remove warts from hands I would take medication. It's painless and it won't leave me a memento in the form of a scar. I would go with it any given Sunday.
Some methods that are not orthodox for removing warts from hands do exist too. I have heard of one where you stick duct tape and then rip it off very fast like when waxing. I also heard that you can just take a file and gently rub them off. I guess it's up to you.
